Indigenous Youth Entrepreneurship PrograM
IN COLLABORATION WITH WHITE OTTER CONSULTING
KLB Consulting is proud to have led the development of a two-stream Indigenous Youth Entrepreneurship curriculum, an empowering initiative rooted in cultural identity, community resilience, and holistic well-being. Developed in collaboration with White Otter Consulting, the curriculums were designed to support Indigenous youth in building sustainable, impactful businesses that honour traditional values while incorporating modern business practices.
Grounded in Indigenous frameworks such as the 4 R’s (Respect, Responsibility, Relevance, Reciprocity) and Seven Generation Thinking, the curriculum encourages participants to view entrepreneurship as a pathway to not only personal success but also to community preservation, environmental stewardship, and long-term prosperity. The program includes an introductory stream for those new to entrepreneurship and an advanced stream for learners ready to deepen their understanding and move toward business planning and launch with the goal of participants completing both.
Each module weaves together cultural values, self-reflection, and practical business skills to align spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional well-being with entrepreneurial goals. KLB Consulting developed all content and materials, including a comprehensive facilitator guide, participant workbook, presentation decks, and supportive activity sheets.
This initiative supports Indigenous youth in becoming community-centred entrepreneurs and changemakers who build businesses that reflect their identities, serve their people, and protect future generations.
