Town of St. Marys

The Town of St. Marys, located at the junction of the Thames River and Trout Creek in southwestern Ontario, is a vibrant community steeped in natural beauty and rich history. Originally the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, St. Marys is within the boundaries of Treaty 29, also known as the Huron Tract Purchase, and is protected by the Dish With One Spoon wampum agreement. Today, the town is home to a diverse and growing population, with many Indigenous peoples continuing to steward the land. St. Marys is committed to embracing its cultural heritage while fostering a sustainable and inclusive future, ensuring that the community remains a welcoming place for all residents and visitors.
